1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity ("you") and ReTicked OÜ ("we," "us" or "our"), concerning your access to and use of the website as well as any other media form, media channel, mobile website or mobile application related, linked, or otherwise connected thereto.

2. Buyback and Sales

When you request a quote to sell your watch to us, the offer provided is an estimate based on the information and photos provided. Final offers are subject to physical inspection of the timepiece.

• All watches must be authentic. We do not deal in replica or counterfeit goods.
• You must be the legal owner of the watch with the right to sell it.
• Payments are issued only after physical receipt and authentication of the watch.

3. Repairs

Repair estimates are provided based on your description. The final cost may vary once our watchmakers have physically inspected the movement and parts required.

• We will not commence any repair work without your explicit approval of the final estimate.
• Turnaround times are estimates and may vary depending on parts availability.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

Unless otherwise indicated, the website is our proprietary property and all source code, databases, functionality, software, website designs, audio, video, text, photographs, and graphics on the website are owned or controlled by us or licensed to us.

5. Limitation of Liability

In no event will we or our directors, employees, or agents be liable to you or any third party for any direct, indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site.

Insurance, Returns & Disputes

How things work if something goes wrong — whether you're selling, buying, consigning, or having a watch repaired with ReTicked.

This information is provided for guidance only and does not replace our Terms and Conditions of Sale.

1. You Sell Your Watch to ReTicked (Buyback)

Shipping
Insured shipping at declared value is mandatory (Chronopost, DHL or equivalent with ad valorem insurance). Costs are reimbursed if our offer is accepted.

We confirm the watch's condition upon receipt via photos, before making any final offer.

If the watch doesn't match the description
We make an adjusted counter-offer. If you decline it, we return the watch to you at our expense.

Payment
Paid only after physical receipt and authentication of the watch.

Outbound transport
Covered by the carrier's insurance selected at shipping. We recommend declaring the full value of the watch.

2. You Consign Your Watch (Consignment)

While we hold the watch
Covered by our professional multi-risk insurance, for the appraised value agreed together at the time of consignment.

You want it back before it sells
You may request it back at any time. We return it within 72 business hours, unless a sale has already been finalized with a buyer at the time of your request — in that case, the ongoing sale is completed. Return shipping costs are at your expense, unless the issue is our error.

In case of loss, theft or damage while in our care
Reimbursement up to the appraised value agreed at the outset.

3. You Buy a Watch via WhatsApp

(On WhatsApp, no automatic buyer/seller protection exists, unlike on Vinted or Chrono24 — here is how we replace it.)

• Payment before shipping; the watch is shipped only after funds are received.
• Shipment is always insured at the sale value, with tracking and signature required on delivery.
• 14-day right of withdrawal for any purchase by an EU consumer (a legal requirement for distance sales). The watch must be returned in its original condition; return shipping is at the buyer's expense, unless there is non-conformity on our part.
• In case of a dispute about the condition on arrival: we systematically film the packaging and condition of the watch before shipping, which allows disputes to be resolved quickly.

4. You Buy or Sell via Vinted

Vinted transactions are covered by Vinted's Buyer and Seller Protection, independent of our own policy. Please refer directly to Vinted's terms for details (dispute deadlines, refunds, dispute procedure).

5. You Buy or Sell via Chrono24

Chrono24 offers its own protection system, more robust than WhatsApp, which we use for any sale on this platform:

• Trusted Checkout / Chrono24 Escrow: your payment is held by Chrono24 and is only released to the seller after confirmation by the buyer.
• Funds are held in escrow with Chrono24 and are only released 14 days after delivery for a purchase from a professional seller, or up to 7 days after delivery for a purchase from a private seller — this period corresponds to the buyer's inspection and return window.
• If the watch arrives defective or not as described, the buyer has 14 days after delivery to notify Chrono24 support and obtain a full refund of the price plus the original shipping costs.

6. Repairs

Sending your watch
Insured shipping at declared value, at your expense. We acknowledge receipt with photos of its condition on arrival, before any work begins.

Quote
No repair is carried out without your explicit approval of the final quote. If you decline the quote, we return the watch as it is. Return shipping is at your expense, unless the final quote differs significantly from the original estimate — in which case it is at our expense.

During the repair
The watch is covered by our professional insurance for the entire duration of the work. In the event of breakage or additional damage during the repair, ReTicked takes full responsibility (replacement or compensation at the appraised value).

Timelines
Announced timelines are estimates and depend on parts availability. If a delay significantly exceeds the initial estimate, we will proactively let you know.

Return of the repaired watch
Insured shipping at the value of the watch (not just the repair amount).

Warranty
3 to 6 months on parts and workmanship, excluding accidental breakage or misuse.

If the repair proves impossible
We return the watch to you free of charge, with no handling fee.
